Geared towards power. An automatic ZF 8-speed transmission comes twinned with electronic rear differential. Channelling power into place and weaving it individually through each wheel. Offering shorter gear changes to improve acceleration, particularly across the mid-range. Allowing the world’s first super tourer to find super speeds.
HANDLING AND STEERING

Electronic Rear Differential. Taming torque one wheel at a time with precise management of torque placement. Able to go from full open to locked in 135 milliseconds. It is blessed with four modes, including Wet, On, Track, and Off.

BRAKE
Stamp down your ceramic foot

For the first time across Aston Martin’s core GT models, the choice of carbon ceramic brakes. 400mm at the front. 360mm at the rear. Grooved and drilled, disc by disc, to fight off fade in the cauldron of high speed. While reducing unsprung mass by 27kg to quicken its feel at your feet and control in your hands.

The latest addition to Aston Martin’s most illustrious bloodline, DB12 exemplifies the brand by boldly moving forward.

Grille

56% increase in frontal apertures for cooling, joined by a 54% bigger grille. Breathing more cold air to the radiators and centrally mounted bonnet vents, to give the powerful twin turbo V8 the cold it needs to fire on all cylinders.

Wheels

Mounted on new, larger 21-inch alloy wheels, trimmed to maximize the harmony between the tire and tarmac. DB12 also debuts the new Michelin Pilot Sport 5S tire. Developed alongside Michelin and bespoke to Aston Martin. A hand spun compound for unparalleled lateral grip, to dampen the effects of rain and cushion comfort into every roll of tread.

Side strake, front splitter and sills

Aston Martin’s iconic side strake. A feature of every DB. The side strake leads the eye down the waistline of the car. And keeps you steady through lift reduction, even when you’re flying.

Lighting

Fronted with futuristic, re-designed LED headlights and shining with a new daytime running light (DRL) signature. Utilising a distinct 6 block pattern, offering DB12 a distinct and characterful front visual appearance. Generated by AI for a unique pyramid structure, made to prevent refraction of light from the LED beam.
